In what cases is it recommended?

A donor’s semen sample is mainly used to help establish a pregnancy in single women or for couples where the man is azoospermic (absence of sperm in the ejaculate). This condition is usually idiopathic (without aetiology), but it can also follow disease or vasectomy (male sterilization operation) that is not reversible or if the vasectomy reversal was unsuccessful.

All fertility treatments can be stressful and using donor semen has its own particular stresses. We are always available to answer any questions and concerns you might have, as well as assist you in finding the right sperm donor for you.
